Mauli Alofa Network
Our Mauli Alofa Network envelopes youth & young adults in a cultural network rooted in love and joy that maintains and restores their relationship to family, village, land, language & culture. We are committed to the wholistic healing and liberation of our kin who are currently incarcerated. We provide non-judgemental peer space for those suffering from substance use disorder. We are a queer inclusive space. We partake in the ritual of ava/kava/yanqona - we provide spaces to practice Oceanian cultural protocols that reinforce belonging, love and also life transitions. Our Mauli Alofa Network includes our Oceania Youth Collective, our Teine Mauli Alofa Cricket Team & our Mauli Alofa Cultural Immersion Program.
Oceania Youth Collective

Our Collective are descendants of Oceania and comprise of Melanesian, Micronesian & Polynesian youth. We focus on elevating Pacific Islander student concerns in their schools, form healthy networks for them to thrive in their education, and form a powerful collective that is focused on integrating the learning of cultural songs, dances, language and other Oceanian cultural protocol.
Teine Mauli Alofa
Our Teine Mauli Alofa has enrolled in the Tacoma Cricket League and competes as an all queer inclusive women's team committed to the sport of Samoan cricket but also to create social and cultural space for queer Samoan women who are seeking belonging. We currently practice in Tacoma on Saturdays and we are active in the Spring and Summer season. Please come out and cheer for us!

Kalapu Inu Ava
Our Mauli Alofa Kalapu Inu Ava partakes in the social ritual of ava drinking as a harm reduction activity to steer away from drugs and alcohol but also fostering participation in the sharing of history, culture, singing during the ava drinking session. Our Kalapu members join a social network rooted in alofa or love to create resilence for members in resisting negative influences rooted in addiction and in capitalism. Instead, we promote humility, respect and learning as Oceanian values that we actively practice in our Kalapu Inu Ava.

Oceania Northwest acknowledges that we live and work on stolen Coast Salish land. We recognize the land stewardship of all Indigenous people since time immemorial and the disruption of this work by white colonization. We are aligned to efforts in supporting Indigenous sovereignty in the Pacific Northwest as we also fight for Indigenous sovereignty over our home, Oceania.
